Another pre-contract agreement?
Rumour on P&B that Gregory has signed a pre-contract agreement which would see him play for Morton next season. Can anyone confirm or deny?

New management duo in place
Stranraer Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Derek Ferguson as the Manager to replace Gerry Britton. Derek took up the reign as Caretaker Manager two weeks ago and he has been working with the majority of the players for the past season and some of them since the previous season. We believe that there needs to be continuity and it important that the services of players be confirmed for the forth coming season and the appointment of Derek can allow this process to begin.
This season Stranraer Football Club has the youngest group of players in the squad that it has had in living memory.
The club has invested in the provision of coaching at various age groups over the past year with varying degrees of success and it is our intention to pursue this for the foreseeable future. On looking at our set up Derek is of the opinion that that this is the correct way to move the club forward and he has appointed local hero, ex Stranraer and Clyde player Keith Knox as his assistant. Keith’s knowledge of the reserve team where he has been manager and indeed football in the local area will be invaluable to Derek as he endeavours to take the club forward.
Speaking to ‘Out of the Blue’ at their unveiling at the home of Scottish football Hampden Park this morning. Derek said “I’m delighted to be given the opportunity and thank the committee for the faith they have shown in me, I know Keith well not only from my time at Stair Park but from our spell together at Alloa, we have to talk a lot more about various aspects of the partnership but neither of us envisage any problems”.
Keith said “after being involved with the reserve team this is the natural progression for me and I am happy to take on the role I’ve been out of the Senior game for 3 years since I retired from playing and although I don’t know every player now at this level the way I used to I’m sure that I will get up to speed very quickly”.

The new management duo, that are now in charge until at least the end of season 2008/9, made their first signing persuading 19 year old former Kilmarnock midfielder Steven Noble to put pen to paper, also till the end of next season.
